The Willow Walker
has been rescued by the timely intervention
of the Kenneth Miller Trust and Cambridge University
Press. Work is already underway on establishing
it as a social enterprise charity in its own
right. This process will involve a name change,
a city centre base offering new opportunities
for homeless people as well the formal inclusion
of Cambridge
Link-Up and Homeless
Truths radio show under the new project's
umbrella. What will not change is the Willow
Walker's commitment to the creative talents,
skills and stories of people who share experiences
of homelessness.
